Before the protest
Please arrive on time. Before we begin, you will receive the material for the role you want to take on today.

Briefing
Before the protest starts, the organizer will explain the structure, the roles and what we aim to communicate together. Then the protest begins.

During the protest
You can take breaks at any time. Just step to the side so the overall formation stays intact.

Outro and finish
After the outro, we take a group photo and a group video.

Debriefing
At the end, there is a short debriefing: feedback, notes for the next protest, etc. After that, all materials are collected and the protest is officially over.

Take the microphone and speak for the animals in a tier-centered, abolitionist way, or read our prepared speeches aloud.

Photo and Video Onboarding

1. Participation
   Only vegans take part in our protests. Disrespectful behavior and any hostility toward animals have no place at our actions. Anyone who stands up respectfully and in solidarity for the liberation of other animals is welcome.

2. Animals
   Other animals are not brought along, as the protest is loud, stressful and dangerous for them.

3. Clothing, Slogans and Masks
   Black clothing is worn, red accents are allowed. The overall appearance is professional and clothing is appropriate. Shorts, tops and sportswear are fine, underwear, briefs and bare bras are not. Vegan slogans are allowed as long as they are clearly abolitionist vegan. Environmental messages, health messages, political demands and advertising for organizations hostile to animals are not allowed. A protest takes place either entirely with or entirely without masks, and this applies to everyone. Anyone who does not wear a NEON mask at a protest with masks uses a black cloth, a scarf or suitable headwear that covers at least half of the face instead. Activated vegans may join spontaneously, even if they are not dressed completely in black.

4. Recordings
   Speeches are only published on NEON profiles with the express consent of the speakers. The audience may be filmed freely. Children are always made unrecognizable in edits.

5. Children
   Children may take part and hold signs, but only with a mask. This also applies to group photos. Everything else is decided by the organizer on site in the interest of child protection.

6. Materials
   Materials and props are handled with care.

7. Luggage
   Unnecessary luggage is not brought along, so that the protest remains clear and manageable.

8. Alcohol and Drugs
   Neither alcohol nor other drugs are consumed before or during the protest.

9. Incidents
   In case of conflicts, police contact and medical emergencies, everyone present stays calm and follows the instructions of the organizers. Individual heroics and impulsive reactions endanger everyone.

10. Decisions
    General decisions are made by the organizers on site. Discussions are settled calmly afterwards.
