This is how you organize your NEON event
A NEON protest can start very small, even with just one sign and a Bluetooth speaker. And if you already have a few people, you can begin with a larger event right away.

One sign, a Bluetooth speaker, and your determination to make the animals visible are more than enough. Stand there, play the music with vegan messages, talk to people, or start a short livestream. You’ll reach people and might even find new supporters for your next protest. And the best part? You don’t even have to register it.

A NEON protest is strongest when everyone feels safe and knows exactly what’s happening. Your Unit doesn’t need perfection, it needs clear guidance and a sense of security. Participation
Only vegans take part in our protests. Disrespectful behavior and any hostility toward animals have no place at our actions. Anyone who stands up respectfully and in solidarity for the liberation of other animals is welcome.Animals
Other animals are not brought along, as the protest is loud, stressful and dangerous for them.Clothing, Slogans and Masks
Black clothing is worn, red accents are allowed. The overall appearance is professional and clothing is appropriate. Shorts, tops and sportswear are fine, underwear, briefs and bare bras are not. Vegan slogans are allowed as long as they are clearly abolitionist vegan. Environmental messages, health messages, political demands and advertising for organizations hostile to animals are not allowed. A protest takes place either entirely with or entirely without masks, and this applies to everyone. Anyone who does not wear a NEON mask at a protest with masks uses a black cloth, a scarf or suitable headwear that covers at least half of the face instead. Activated vegans may join spontaneously, even if they are not dressed completely in black.Recordings
Speeches are only published on NEON profiles with the express consent of the speakers. The audience may be filmed freely. Children are always made unrecognizable in edits.Children
Children may take part and hold signs, but only with a mask. This also applies to group photos. Everything else is decided by the organizer on site in the interest of child protection.Materials

Unnecessary luggage is not brought along, so that the protest remains clear and manageable.Alcohol and Drugs
Neither alcohol nor other drugs are consumed before or during the protest.Incidents
In case of conflicts, police contact and medical emergencies, everyone present stays calm and follows the instructions of the organizers. Individual heroics and impulsive reactions endanger everyone.Decisions
General decisions are made by the organizers on site. Discussions are settled calmly afterwards.
